7:30 pm – Chicago Architecture Foundation Boat Tour
Join fellow attendees for what TripAdvisor calls a “top tour in Chicago and one of the top ten tours in the U.S.”  A certified tour guide will interpret more than 50 buildings along the Chicago River. You’ll find out how Chicago grew from a small settlement into one of the world’s largest cities in less than 100 years. In 90 minutes, get the real story on Chicago architecture and its history. Limited to the first 120 attendees, cash bar.

Friday, August 10

10:00 am – Contributor Day and Office Hours
Contributor days are in-person opportunities to give back to WordPress and WordPress-related open source efforts. Doors open at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.

We will also be hosting “Office Hours,” where a dozen WordPress and Newsroom experts will have available hours for mentorship. Anyone who is solving a problem with WordPress in the newsroom can sign up for a slot.

7:10 pm – Cleveland Indians at Chicago White Sox Baseball Game
After Contributor Day, we’re organizing a trip to see the Chicago White Sox play the Cleveland Indians. Tickets for the game will be handed out to those who RSVPd when they purchased their WordCamp Publishers ticket.
